The 4 star Hotel Princesa Playa is situated around 300 metres from the beach in the quiet Son Xoriguer district of the popular resort of Cala'n Bosch on the south west coast of Menorca. The hotel is approximately 45km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 800 metres from the marina and commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1996, the modern low rise Hotel Princesa Playa has a total of 224 guest rooms, including 160 standard twin rooms and a further 64 self catering apartments, which are built over 2 floors and set amidst almost 30,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 4 guest rooms at the Hotel Princesa Playa have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Princesa Playa also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 100 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults with a pressured Jacuzzi and separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include and children's playground and mini club, along with a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Princesa Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
